Joanne Shofner, recently elected to represent Texas House District 11, has shared updates and messages of gratitude on her social media accounts regarding her ongoing campaign efforts and recent legislative developments.

On September 19, 2025, Shofner expressed appreciation for the backing she has received from constituents in a post: “I am so grateful for the support I’ve already received from the people of House District 11. Every donation, big or small, helps us continue the fight for East Texas values in Austin! Thank you for standing with me! Donate Online Here: https://t.co/LwQgGahu7c Mail https://t.co/7kJHEvzuP5”.

Later that day, she announced an upcoming policy change scheduled to take effect in December. In a tweet posted at 22:56 UTC on September 19, she wrote: “Done!!! December 4th it will take effect! @GregAbbott_TX @Burrows4TX https://t.co/5hh9SxtYsX”.

Shofner is a Republican who began serving as the representative for Texas’s 11th House district after being elected in 2025. She succeeded Travis Clardy in this role.
