Burkeville ISD issued the following announcement.
Mustang CommUNITY,
We hope that all of you and your family are safe and didn't have any damage to your homes from Hurricane Laura.
Our Mustang Staff will be returning to campus on Tuesday, September 8th with students following on Wednesday, September 9th. We ask that during the time leading up to our return you continue to stay off of the campus grounds as cleanup is continuing.
If anything changes, we will let you know. Be sure to watch our Facebook page and school website for more details.
We will get through this minor setback and continue having the best year possible. We are Burkeville CommUNITY - Better Together!
