Apple Springs ISD issued the following announcement.
An individual associated with ASISD recently tested positive for COVID-19. All required precautions have been implemented and this person is currently under quarantine. According to the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, there is no need for group quarantine at this time. School will remain open and active on our regular schedule.
As always, if your child becomes ill, has a temperature, or develops other symptoms of the coronavirus, do not send them to school but seek medical attention including a COVID-19 test.
