Spurger ISD issued the following announcement on Feb. 06.
On Monday and Tuesday, Dean Charles Martinez welcomed leaders from the TLL Temple Foundation and five East Texas School Districts: Burkeville ISD, Newton Independent School District, San Augustine ISD, Spurger ISD and Woodville ISD.
Together with faculty and other advocates, they talked about assets and challenges for these communities, as well as opportunities for collaboration.
