Burkeville ISD issued the following announcement May 01.
We will be hosting a Senior Parade to recognize and honor our 2020 graduates. We would like for our Mustang CommUNITY to come out and support them during the parade. Please park along our traditional parade route and bring your signs, banners, and Mustang spirit. Please do not park at the school, and remember to follow social distancing guidelines. This is voluntary, and we need to be sure to keep each other safe. People should remain in there vehicles and at least 6 feet apart. The parade will be on Saturday, May 16th at 11:00am.
Seniors, please read below for important information for you to follow:
- seniors line up at 10:30am in front of high school
- contact Ms. Lowe by Friday, May 8th and RSVP (409-383-4788 or alowe@burkevilleisd.org)
- single entry for each senior with driver and senior only (two people only per vehicle)
- vehicle or float that can be decorated, no animals in the parade
- each senior will be presented with a gift bag at the end of the parade
- seniors wear senior t-shirts
- remain in your vehicle at all times - no congregating
