MAY IS NATIONAL STOP THE BLEED AWARENESS MONTH

May is National Stop The Bleed Awareness month. Students and all staff members received training on how to handle bleeding emergencies by applying pressure, packing wounds, and applying a tourniquet.
Through donations, Spurger ISD was able to distribute 30 Stop The Bleed kits throughout the district, including transportation, nutritional, and health services.
Safety is a priority at Spurger ISD. Lives matter and seconds count!
