Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Academy of Hair Design-Lufkin

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Academy of Hair Design-Lufkin, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $13,500 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 81 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 50 students received grants or scholarships totaling $278,258 and 50 students took out student loans totaling more than $273,369.

Including all undergraduates (84), 71 students used grants or scholarships totaling $354,175, and 71 students took out $360,256 in federal student loans.
