Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 74.2% of Lovelady ISD schools' student body in 2021-22 school year

There were 374 white students enrolled in Lovelady ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Lovelady ISD schools welcomed 504 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 74.2% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Lovelady ISD roughly covers schools within Houston County and has a main office in Lovelady.

Among the two schools in Lovelady ISD schools, Lovelady Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 203 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
