Enrollment Analysis: Asian students comprised 0.2% of Lovelady ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There was one Asian student enrolled in Lovelady ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 50% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Lovelady ISD schools welcomed 538 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Lovelady ISD roughly covers schools within Houston County and has a main office in Lovelady.

Lovelady Junior High High School was the only school in the district which enrolled Asian students, welcoming one student in the 2022-23 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
