There were 768 students enrolled in Groveton ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 3.5% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.9% of them were boys, and 46.1% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 75.4% of the Groveton ISD total enrollment.

Groveton ISD roughly covers schools within Trinity County with its main office in Groveton.

Among the two schools in Groveton ISD, Groveton Junior High-High School recorded the highest enrollment of 428 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.
